We have been running a successful Independent Travel Training Programme for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham since January 2019. This is an intensive programme that helps young people with SEND to travel independently from their home to school and vice versa. The programme also builds their confidence and ability to achieve important life skills. We are driven to promote their independence, confidence, and arm them with social and life skills that will enable these young people to face any challenges they may face in the course of adulthood.

We achieve this by building a strong and supportive network for young people working in partnership with other professionals. We support them by helping them become independent with their daily living activities, encourage them to be active in their community, help with their education, and help with securing a job or apprenticeship training.
